MEDIA ADVISORY: Government of Antigua & Barbuda and Cricket West Indies Team Up for Reduced Ticket Prices in Honor of Independence Day Celebration

Dear Media Colleagues,

The Government of Antigua & Barbuda, in collaboration with Cricket West Indies (CWI), is commemorating the nation's 43rd anniversary of Independence by offering special ticket discounts for The Rivalry: West Indies vs. England One Day Internationals. The matches, set for Thursday, October 31 at 2 PM and Saturday, November 2 at 9:30 AM, will take place at the iconic Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

This partnership, driven by the Ministry of Education, Sports & Creative Industries, presents an exclusive chance for fans residing in Antigua & Barbuda to celebrate their national heritage and rally behind their team at significantly reduced prices, available while supplies last.

The Honorable Daryll Matthew, Minister of Education, Sports & Creative Industries, expressed his enthusiasm: “Antigua & Barbuda has produced renowned cricket icons such as Sir Vivian Richards, Sir Andy Roberts, Sir Richie Richardson, and Sir Curtly Ambrose, all of whom have elevated our nation’s legacy on the world stage. Their achievements were fueled by the strong support from fans at home, and through this initiative, we aim to inspire the same dedication for today’s cricket talents.”
