MEDIA ADVISORY: Men's Academy Induction Ceremony In Antigua Tomorrow

15 players under the age of 23 will be signed to live and train in Antigua for one year

Dear Members of the Media,

Kindly be advised that Cricket West Indies (CWI) will be hosting an Induction Ceremony in Conference Room B at its headquarters at Coolidge Cricket Grounds in St John's, Antigua, tomorrow - Friday 10th, August 2024.

 Proceedings commence promptly at 11:00 AM AST and media are asked to arrive by 10:45 AM AST.

Presenters at this event will include:

  • Mr. Enoch Lewis - Board Member & Chairman of the Cricket Committee CWI
  • Lynford Inverary, CWI Chief Operating Officer
  • Mr. Miles Bascombe, CWI Director of Cricket
  • Mr. Courtney Walsh – West Indies Legend

This year marks a significant step for the Men’s Academy, with 15 players under the age of 23 receiving dedicated, year-long coaching and training. The signing of these contracts will allow these young men access to world-class resources, including a dedicated technical team, as they prepare for the rigors of regional and international cricket.
