WEST INDIES UNDER-19 MEN'S WORLD CUP SQUAD DEPARTURE MEDIA INTERACTION

Dear Media Colleagues,

Cricket West Indies (CWI) invites local media houses and practitioners in Barbados to a brief media interaction with the West Indies Under-19 Men's World Cup squad ahead of their departure for the tournament in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

DATE: Tuesday, January 6, 2025
TIME: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
LOCATION: Grantley Adams International Airport, Christ Church, Barbados

This engagement provides an opportunity to give direct access to the West Indies' travelling party and speak directly with the head coach and key players who will share the team's confidence, expectations and preparation ahead of the competition.

Members of the travelling party who will be available to take questions from the media are Head Coach Rohan Nurse, captain Joshua Dorne, vice-captain Jonathan Van Lange & senior player Jewel Andrew.

Note: Quick 1-on-1 TV/Radio interviews may be accommodated if time allows (pre-agreed only)

Following the interaction, CWI will provide media with official quotes from the squad, high-resolution photos from the departure and any other additional resources as available.
